Aziz + Kanye = Buddies

Day 32. Today was my first day back to Bikram after missing for Super Bowl Sunday festivities. I ate so much junk food yesterday that I was a bit worried if could function in class this morning. Note: Doritos do not taste as delicious as they did 10 years ago.

I tried to cancel out the Super Bowl diet damage so I made a green juice for breakfast. Today’s juice consisted of spinach, cucumber, apple and rainbow Swiss chard. I didn’t feel amazing but it would have to do.

Speaking of Amazing, I recently dug that song out of my archives. It’s a track on Kanye West’s 2008 album, 808s and Heartbreak. I’ve been revisiting the whole album lately, with special attention to that song, Amazing. Any rap song where Young Jeezy raps about high blood pressure is kind of awesome in my book.

I was rockin’ out on my drive to the studio this morning and cracking up as I thought back to comedian Aziz Ansari’s story about his good buddy, Kanye…

I think Aziz is adorable. I get a kick out of that little guy anytime he comes on the screen, especially as the “baller” Tom Haverford on Parks and Recreation. So precious.

Class turned out to be surprisingly great. I felt energized and relaxed throughout the entire 90 minutes. Amazing!

Two things: I have to disagree but Doritos do too taste as good as they did ten years ago and apparently, eating junk food the day before yoga doesn’t necessarily impact your next day performance. 😉

    Junk food for the win!!

Hehehehe, c’mon. I only get to get your goat like once or twice a year. You’re always so on top of things, I had to take my little shot.

Keep on doin’ your juice thing because that’s what makes you feel good.

Doritos went downhill when Jay Leno became the pitch person.
